The Society for Near Eastern Studies in Japan publishes two peer-reviewed periodicals:
Orient: Journal of the Society for Near Eastern Studies in Japan is published annually, with articles in English, French, and German. Orient welcomes contributions from scholars from all over the world, both members and non-members alike.

Oriento『オリエント』(English title, Bulletin of the Society for Near Eastern Studies in Japan) is a Japanese-language periodical published biannually with contributions by members of the society. The contents of research articles and notes published in Oriento are made accessible to those who cannot read Japanese through the accompanying English abstracts.
